Alberto Farinello found his passion in aquascaping a couple of years ago, following the job of other aquascapers on YouTube. He then discovered an entirely new world and a community that has taught him so many things.
He found the most exciting thing about ONF concept is that it gives him the possibility to design and create a really wide range of aquascaping styles. It’s very functional and flexible. Also, due to the very clean and linear design, these lamps complete the creation perfectly, giving it life.
One of my favorite aquascaping styles is Iwagumi, since it is really clean and monochromatic, and it perfectly matches both the lamps and the modern, minimal interior design of my house.
I became more respectful of nature and started to live in a different way. A lot of people don't care about bringing nature into their homes, but for me, now, it is a must.
The creation of a new aquarium is a very personal process. It starts with a careful observation of nature itself—from the study of proportions to the selection of materials. And then, you have to let yourself be carried away by emotion. You have to fall in love with it.
For me, aquascaping represents an escape from everyday life pressures—like taking a walk on the green side, crafted by myself.
The ONF Corner tank is placed in a nice conservatory at home. I decided to place the scape there because of the great clean look of the glass and wood surrounding the tank, but also creating a beautiful natural ambience by looking into our garden in the conservatory. I love my ONF Corner so much because it brings nature into my living room.
