Since Mitsuhiro Asano was little, he was interested in living things and kept various animals. The first step towards getting into the aquarium was to start buying goldfish from the festival goldfish scoop.

After that, he became interested in tropical fish, water plants, and got into nature aquarium. Currently, he is aiming not only to enjoy the aquarium, but also to enjoy it as a comprehensive interior.

I love being able to live and feel nature while staying in the house.

# CHANGE I got more relaxed, got more sensitivitiy for environmental aspects, appreciate the small things and went more for details.

#INSPIRATION

I get inspiration from works on SNS, natural scenery and my own creation.

One of my favorite aquascaping styles is Iwagumi, since it is really clean and monochromatic, and it perfectly matches both the lamps and the modern, minimal interior design of my house.

#MOTIVATION

Posting to Instagram, wanting to live in a fashionable space is the motivation of creation.

The creation of a new aquarium is a very personal process. It starts with a careful observation of nature itself—from the study of proportions to the selection of materials. And then, you have to let yourself be carried away by emotion. You have to fall in love with it.

#CHANGE

From aquascape, I learned the importance of nature and life. It not only taught me how wonderful nature is. It also gave me a peace of mind.

For me, aquascaping represents an escape from everyday life pressures—like taking a walk on the green side, crafted by myself.

# ONFCORNER

My ONF corner is situated in the living room, where we stay the longest. Since I'm still not satisfied with the aquascape, I will try new things every day and make trial and error.

Now I spend about 6 hours a day, about 40 hours or more a week with my scape.
